About the role

  • Insurance and Senior Services Coordinator responsible for enrollment into senior-related insurance policies and providing client support. Maintaining databases and planning community programs for seniors while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Enrolls clients into senior-related, individual insurance policies, including Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage, prescription drug plans, life, hospital indemnity, and dental.
  • Maintains agency management database and membership database for insurance clients and Senior Promise members.
  • Offers support and resolves customer questions and concerns.
  • Plans and develop various Senior Promise programs.
  • Serves Senior Promise by phone, electronically, or in person in order to answers inquiries.
  • Connects with local businesses to increase Franciscan Health visibility and discuss partnership opportunities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED Required within 60 days of hire
  • Life and Health Insurance License Preferred
  • AHIP Certification Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • 5 years Customer service, medical billing, collections and Medicare insurance counseling
