About the role
- Senior Tax Executive at a Corporate Service Provider in Swatar, Malta, managing client tax compliance and supporting junior team members. Ensuring accurate tax returns and liaising with tax authorities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee client tax matters to ensure compliance and on-time filing.
- Review junior team members' tax returns for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare corporate and individual tax returns and related forms.
- Liaise with tax authorities regarding client compliance and queries.
- Support the tax advisory department with complex client projects.
- Help prepare training materials and articles on relevant tax topics.
- Work with the team to identify and suggest improvements to our processes.
- Guide and support junior colleagues with their technical work.
Requirements
- Fully qualified Accountant or equivalent (ACA, ACCA), with a CPA warrant
- 2+ years of tax experience with expertise in Maltese tax
- Proficient in Excel, Word, as well as SAGE
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Maltese and English
- Relevant tax qualifications (like MIT, ADIT) are advantageous
