About the role
- Property Manager overseeing day to day operations of assigned apartments for Fairway Management. Delivering exceptional service and ensuring compliance with housing regulations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations are adhered to
- Collect and Deposit rent within 24 hours of collection
- Provide outstanding service to residents, resolving inquiries, work orders, and requests in a timely manner
- Maintain and build applicant waiting list
- Ensure property stays on budget through cost effective practices
- Conduct initial lease process with certification and annual re-certification
- Supervise property staff and outside vendors
- Organize community activities
- Be on call for after-hours emergencies
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of affordable housing experience with LIHTC, or Section 8
- Solid understanding of Fair Housing
- Skilled in income qualification, tenant file accuracy, and regulatory compliance
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong competency in Microsoft office suite and familiar with learning new software
