Responsibilities
Attend virtual industry webinars and conferences, synthesize key takeaways, and transform insights into thought leadership blog content for the January Digital website
Conduct ongoing research on retail, ecommerce, social media, and digital advertising trends to inform timely blog posts and marketing content
Identify and evaluate relevant industry awards and events, compiling recommendations for agency participation
Develop static and short-form video creative in Canva for LinkedIn and Instagram to support brand storytelling and campaign promotion
Assist in testing LinkedIn paid media formats and audience segments, documenting performance insights and optimization learnings
Support updates to the company website, including uploading press mentions, news updates, and agency announcements
Draft LinkedIn posts informed by blog content, research, and industry events to amplify thought leadership and brand visibility
Support public relations initiatives, including drafting press releases for new client partnerships and agency announcements, and contributing to media commentary opportunities
Requirements
A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree between May 2025 and May 2026 in Marketing, Advertising, Communication, or a related field with relevant coursework required.
Completed relevant internship or work experience relevant to marketing.
Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to distill complex topics into clear, engaging content
Creative and visually minded, with an interest in social media content and design
Comfortable using AI tools to support content development, creative iteration, and research while maintaining brand voice and quality control
Curious about retail, ecommerce, media, and digital marketing trends
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects
Eager to learn and gain exposure to broader marketing, communications, and media
U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position.
