About the role

• DevOps Engineer designing and providing software platforms for clients. Supporting cloud infrastructure setup and managing automation tools in hybrid or onsite environments.

Responsibilities

• Support and advise our clients in designing and delivering software platforms.
• Build private and/or public cloud infrastructures.
• Manage large system landscapes using automation tools based on GitOps methods and tools.
• Work is performed from a mobile office or, by arrangement, on the client’s site. There is also the option to work from one of our company locations if desired.

Requirements

• Completed university degree (Computer Science, Business Informatics, Natural Sciences) or equivalent IT training.
• Strong knowledge of container technologies such as Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, Rancher and Helm, and ideally experience with container platforms like OpenShift or Cloud Pak for Data.
• Practical experience in automation (e.g., with Ansible, AWX/Ansible Tower, Chef, Puppet) and, ideally, in operating applications such as Kafka.
• Good knowledge of GitOps methods and tools such as GitLab, GitHub, GitBucket or Jenkins.
• High degree of responsibility and a structured way of working.
• Ability to work independently and willingness to travel.
