About the role
- Developer - PHP enhancing E-Commerce software with a focus on quality and new features at ITB-GmbH. Collaborate with a dynamic team in a hybrid work setting in Kamp-Lintfort.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing new features for our e‑commerce system following common design patterns and coding principles
- Integration and/or unit tests to ensure code quality
- (Further) development of existing functionalities
- Code refactoring for continuous software optimization
- Active participation in daily stand-ups, code reviews and pull requests
Requirements
- Relevant completed vocational training or a degree (e.g. Business Informatics); alternatively several years of professional experience in web development
- Strong experience in web development (PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, HTML, CSS); experience with PHP frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel is desirable
- Bonus points for experience with common test frameworks, e‑commerce systems, or other technologies such as Linux, Docker, Confluence or Azure DevOps
- Soft skills: analytical thinking, independent and solution‑oriented working style
- Team‑oriented and communicative way of working – also within the team
