About the role
- Engineer in Energy Technology managing projects related to energy supply and decarbonization. Collaborating with trading and controlling teams in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- You will work in the central Technical Division at the interface between operating sites and the Trading, Controlling and Site Development departments.
- Technical support for ongoing projects at all STEAG Power operating sites.
- Technical management of battery storage systems for existing and new-build projects.
- Negotiation of operations management contracts.
- Technical support for operational optimization and maintenance strategies.
- Active contribution to the development of marketing and commercialization strategies.
- Coordination of cross-site topics and measures.
- Ensuring cross-site exchange of experience.
- Representation of STEAG Power GmbH in committees and associations.
Requirements
- Degree in Energy Technology / Process Engineering or comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience in energy technology.
- Goal- and solution-oriented working style.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
- Excellent team and communication skills.
- Committed and highly independent working style.
- Confident user of Microsoft Office applications.
- Good written and spoken English.
