About the role
- Translation Analyst working with translation projects at Ipsos, ensuring excellent translations and quality control across multilingual environments. Collaborating with internal teams and external clients in a hybrid setting.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal and external operational teams to ensure excellent translation is collected and apply necessary quality controls
- Manage translation projects concurrently while ensuring that each is smoothly executed on budget and on schedule
- Be comfortable in data entry systems (Excel and a third party vendor “translation entry system” – training will be provided)
- Be comfortable conversing with clients and translation suppliers
- Be comfortable in a multi-language and multi-cultural environment
- Learn and apply some basic HTML “tagging” to translation (training provided)
- Manage all project tasks on a daily basis to ensure successful and efficient project completion in a “multi-tasking” and time-sensitive environment
Requirements
- B.A. or certificate in French-English translation not required, but preferred. Experience in the field will also be considered.
- Fully fluent in French and English (Spanish or other languages would be an additional asset)
- Excellent time management skills with an emphasis on prioritizing workload
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills that clearly articulate requirements to a wide audience
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and commitment to the accuracy and completeness of information
- Excellent command of Microsoft office (strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel required, particularly using various formulas)
