About the role
- Valuation Manager serving as a liaison for external evaluators and internal departments in real estate valuations. Involves project management and support for complex evaluations
Responsibilities
- Serve as liaison and point of contact between external appraisers and INTREAL funds and outsourcing partners, as well as internal specialist departments
- Organize and commission external real estate valuations for acquisition and periodic valuations domestically and internationally, focusing on supervision and plausibility checks through to the final delivery of valuation reports
- Review and approve invoices from appraisers
- As required, perform project work/analyses and, prospectively, prepare value forecasts and indicative valuations
- Participate in property inspections when necessary
- Maintain and update databases
- Support office organization
Requirements
- Degree in real estate, real estate management or a related field
- Several years of experience in real estate valuation, ideally at a valuation firm or an investment management company (KVG)
- Strong communication and organizational skills, and analytical thinking
- Confident demeanor when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Strong team player
- Good English skills desirable
