About the role

Responsibilities
- Maintain the production plan; define work operations, sequences and equipment; document manufacturing processes including machine setup data
- Create and maintain work plans and material master data in SAP
- Review and optimize technical documentation for manufacturability and practical implementation
- Assess manufacturability and determine appropriate manufacturing processes
- Plan the type and quantity of complex tooling/equipment with multiple functions and processing stages
- Initiate production and procurement and coordinate constructive/design aspects
- Develop capacity and utilization schedules
- Prepare timelines and schedules (in-house and outsourced production) and perform target/actual comparisons
- Design and contribute to quality-assurance measures
- Independently carry out new planning projects, taking into account new or modified processes based on ergonomic and economic considerations, potentially in cooperation with other departments
- Investment planning and ROI forecasts
- Conduct value stream analyses
- Monitor and optimize the efficiency of machines and plants, including associated investment estimates
- Provide technical and disciplinary leadership of the team — from resource planning to employee development
- Independently drive continuous optimization and further development of your area of responsibility and associated processes
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable technical discipline, or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in project management, Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) and shop floor management
- Experience in industrializing new products and processes
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Solid knowledge of sheet metal processing (sheet metal fabrication)
- Excellent knowledge of SAP, Lean, Kaizen, Methods-Time Measurement (MTM) and 5S
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, combined with a high degree of authenticity, integrity and emotional intelligence
- Strong problem-solving skills and a structured, goal-oriented, and resilient working style, complemented by flexibility, dedication and strong organizational abilities
