About the role

Senior Software Engineer - Oracle EBS Functional Consultant at insightsoftware configuring and supporting Oracle EBS R12 modules and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Configure, implement, and support Oracle EBS R12 modules, including: Finance: AP, AR, GL, FA, CM
Manage end to end functional setups and configurations, including workflows, business rules, and cross module integrations across Finance and SCM modules.
Perform detailed data structure analysis, with strong understanding of: Table level and column level structures
Collaborate closely with technical teams to support RICEW components (Reports, Integrations, Conversions, Enhancements, Workflows).
Write efficient SQL queries and perform database analysis for: Data validation, Issue diagnosis, Views creation, Procedures creation, Table level debugging and data tracing
Partner effectively with cross functional teams, ensuring smooth delivery of multi module business processes and alignment with organizational goals.
Work collaboratively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and management.
Support requirement gathering, solution design, testing (SIT/UAT), deployments, and production operations.
Provide clear documentation, status updates, and user communication.

5+ years of experience as an Oracle EBS Functional Consultant
Strong knowledge on Financial Modules
Basic knowledge on other functional modules like - Inventory Management, Material Management, Sales Order Management, Purchase Order Management
Good understanding of multi module process flows in EBS.
Strong SQL scripting and data analysis capabilities.
Participate in data migration, integration, and transformation initiatives using these tools.
Knowledge of AI toolsets for automation and predictive analytics (Nice to Have)
Knowledge of SQL scripting for data extraction and analysis (Nice to Have)
Exposure to SAP FI/MM/SD modules (Nice to Have)
Basic experience or understanding of ETL concepts (Nice to Have)
Experience in EBS to SAP transformation projects (Nice to Have)
Experience in SAP Central Finance (Nice to Have)
Experience in Agile or hybrid methodologies (Nice to Have)
Strong willingness and ability to learn: SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services) for ETL and data transformations
SAP Datasphere for cloud data modelling, integration, and governance
SAP functional modules (FI/MM/SD)
Eagerness to learn SAP, ETL tools (SAP BODS), and SAP Datasphere.
