About the role
- Penetration Tester supporting technical audits and conducting penetration tests at infodas. Engaging in security challenges and collaborating with teams to document findings.
Responsibilities
- You support the security testing team in planning and conducting technical security audits, penetration tests, source code analyses, and configuration audits.
- You tackle challenging problems and research new vulnerabilities and attack techniques.
- You produce final reports and documentation of test results.
- You present the testing approach and results to technical stakeholders and advise on the risks posed by identified vulnerabilities and recommended countermeasures.
Requirements
- You have a degree in Computer Science, IT Security, Information Technology, or a comparable field.
- Alternatively, you have completed a vocational training program with a relevant focus.
- You have relevant experience conducting penetration tests and technical security assessments.
- You also enjoy working on pentest labs, CTFs, bug bounties, or other hacking challenges in your free time.
- You have solid knowledge of one or more GNU/Linux distributions.
- You enjoy interacting with customers and team members and advising them on cybersecurity and penetration testing procedures.
- You possess solid expertise in one or more programming languages.
- Ideally, you have already obtained an OSCP or BSI pentester certification.
- You enjoy dissecting the latest gadgets and technologies.
- You work thoroughly and have solution-oriented analytical thinking.
- You want to research and share your know-how with the team and the security community through talks and articles.
- You have very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
- You see occasional business travel as a welcome change from the regular office routine.
