Responsibilities
Represent Just Energy or IGS Energy to acquire and retain customers by providing an exceptional customer experience at retail stores.
Utilize a consultative selling approach to discover each customer’s unique needs and recommend natural gas, electricity and alternative energy products.
Demonstrate a tenacious drive for results by consistently achieving all sales objectives and following the established departmental goals, policies, and procedures.
Build confidence, generate excitement, and maintain interest and professionalism by using listening and negotiation skills when confronted with objections or skepticism.
Develop collaborative working relationships with other sales representatives, retail store managers and retail employees.
Proactively learn and effectively demonstrate full understanding of current product programs and offering; communicate clearly to assist customers in making informed decisions.
Requirements
Previous experience in sales, customer retention, retail, or account management is preferred
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
Demonstrated ability to build rapport with diverse customer groups
Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational abilities
Comfortable working independently and in a dynamic retail environment
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent required
Reliable transportation to assigned retail and training locations
Ability to stand for extended periods while working at a retail booth
Ability to use an iPad or similar device to facilitate customer interactions
Ability to lift up to 10 lbs (e.g., marketing materials, binders, devices)
