Lead Maintenance Engineer focusing on critical maintenance within a water recycling company. Engaging in process safety tasks and enhancing asset performance through collaborative efforts.
Responsibilities
The Lead Maintenance Engineer will play a pivotal role in the oversight and delivery of critical maintenance activities, with a particular focus on process safety critical tasks.
Ensure the effective day-to-day delivery of planned and reactive maintenance work.
Own the design, development, and optimisation of Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM) routes and associated alerts.
Ensure all safety critical equipment maintenance activities are completed on time and in line with compliance requirements.
Provide mechanical and electrical technical support to Maintenance Managers and their teams.
Lead and undertake project work within the area, including initiatives to reduce operating costs and optimise mechanical and electrical asset performance.
Requirements
Possess a NVQ Level 3/4 or equivalent in a relevant maintenance discipline is essential
Proven practical experience of fault finding and improvement of mechanical and electrical assets through Planned Preventative Maintenance and strong Root Cause Analysis skills
Good understanding of Contractor management and MOC policies and procedures
Knowledge of Water Recycling processes and associated Health and Safety requirements is essential
Experience using various IT programmes including SAP, IRIS and Power BI
Flexible approach to work as the sites operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
Full UK driving license.
