About the role
- Internship position in accounting with a focus on fiscal activities for a major renewable energy company. Collaborate in a dynamic team environment with exposure to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Support the accounting and tax team’s activities, starting with tax tasks and later assisting with accounting activities
- Enter invoices and payment documents (interacting with Operations teams and other areas at Ibitu)
- Monitor automated checks for Electronic Tax Domicile and negative tax debt certificates
- Support the preparation of tax filings and reports
- Identify opportunities to automate reports and tasks (using AI, Excel, etc.)
- Reconcile accounts and accounting/tax balances
Requirements
- Enrolled in Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics from the 3rd semester onward
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with other automation tools such as programming, AI, or Power BI is a plus
