Responsibilities
- Lead the risk management program for strategic initiatives, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation and reporting
- Align tools, processes and methodologies with other lines of defense
- Oversee the New Initiative Risk Assessment and the associated New Initiative Approval Process
- Ensure risk reporting and accountability to senior management and the Board of Directors
- Support strategic planning and the monitoring of risk indicators
- Supervise the identification, assessment and analysis of emerging risks, develop recommendations and prepare reports for the Board of Directors
- Advise and support business partners on strategic, cross‑functional and emerging risks, and recommend optimal mitigation measures
- Mobilize, develop and mentor a team of strategic risk management experts
- Structure and optimize governance, frameworks, tools and processes related to sound risk management across all business lines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Law or another relevant discipline
- More than 10 years of experience in risk management or a related field, preferably within financial institutions or a regulated environment
- Advanced proficiency in English
