Responsibilities
Responsible for managing a high-performing sales team that works closely with branches and business banking partners to execute on effective sales strategies that are focused on the regional/business banking channel.
Deliver revenue targets according to sales plan, providing accurate, timely and consistent sales reporting.
Coaching, developing, and motivating the sales staff.
Driving client-deal closures and ensuring successful participation in the branch/business banking ecosystem.
Maintaining policies and procedures according to audit guidelines and creating new COI/referral partners.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 8 years proven successful sales management experience in financial institution, with an emphasis on the payments industry.
Strong understanding of SMB and Business Banking client needs and payment processing solutions.
Ability to motivate and manage a high-performing sales team, a results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets and proven success in achieving ambitious targets.
Expertise in virtual and in-person sales.
Strong solution-oriented mindset, with strong deal-closing skills and a customer-centric approach.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills.
Ability to multitask and juggle complex tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
Utilize technology effectively to manage workload and employee relationships.
Approach challenges creatively and find solutions that benefit both employees and the bank.
Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Thorough knowledge of various software programs including Word and Excel, Salesforce, and ability to quickly learn additional systems/software.
