About the role
- Insurance Sales Specialist selling personal insurance products through inbound and outbound calls to clients. Developing relationships and maintaining product knowledge for sales success.
Responsibilities
- Sell personal insurance products to Individuals
- Inbound and Outbound calling to prospective clients
- Develop and maintain business relationships with internal and external referral sources
- Meet goals for volume of quality new business quoted and written within company guidelines
- Maintain up to date knowledge of products, services, technology and regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of work experience focused on Sales and/or customer service
- A valid Property and Casualty Insurance license, or will be required to obtain the license within 45 days of hire
- Sales Experience with proven ability to achieve sales expectations and meet high volume deadlines in a call center environment
- A high energy and personable "over the phone" communication style.
- Ability to manage a high volume of customers in various sales and service stages
- Experience working with complex products/processes
- Computer experience and experience with Microsoft Suite of programs, comparative rater and carrier sites
