About the role
- Senior SAP FI/CO Inhouse Consultant developing and improving financial SAP solutions for home24. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to design and optimize business processes.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage within the financial environment, specifically in Controlling, Contract Accounts, General Ledger, and Accounts Payable
- Responsible for the comprehensive execution of projects and change requests, including effort estimation, solution design, implementation, documentation, testing, and go-live support
- Process incidents, service requests, and inquiries from business units, proactively monitor and maintain the system
- Collaborate across modules within the SAP Competence Center and work closely with internal stakeholders
- Provide expert advice and support in designing and optimizing business processes in Finance with a focus on Controlling
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in SAP FI/CO
- Strong focus on process integration with SD and MM, preferably in the retail or e-commerce sector
- Hands-on experience with the SAP S/4HANA for Retail industry solution
- In-depth knowledge of finance and controlling business processes within the S/4HANA environment
- Proficiency in creating Controlling reports
- Comprehensive understanding of standard SAP processes (FI/CO)
- Cross-functional knowledge of adjacent modules (e.g., SD, MM)
- An affinity for and strong interest in using AI skills for optimization
- Fluency in English; German skills are a significant plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
