About the role
- Junior Physical Security Specialist in Springfield, VA assisting with physical security aspects and supporting the personnel Security Team. Overseeing systems like access control and intrusion detection.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Sr. PHYSEC Specialist and the Cognizant Security Officer with all aspects of physical security
- Back-up the personnel Security Team with visit requests, data input and escorting
- Manage an Access Control System (ACS) and Visitor Control
- Manage an Intrusion Detection System (IDS)
- Manage a closed-circuit camera system
- Create and implement an Emergency Action Plan (EAP)
- Create facility badges and key control
- Develop standard operating procedures and emergency action plans
Requirements
- 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field
- 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
- 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field
- 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
- TS.SCI clearance required to start with ability to obtain CI Poly
- At least 5 years of experience in operating an ACS (LENEL)
- Experience completing Fixed Facility Checklist (FFC) and TEMPEST Checklists
- Experience in Antiterrorism Force Protection (ATFP)
- Familiarity with SIMS Database
- Familiarity with Bluetooth Detection Devices
