About the role
- Field Service Technician providing on-site service for inspection devices across customer locations in Germany and occasionally Europe. Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, and customer training.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission and service our inspection devices directly at customer sites
- Perform inspections, modifications and repairs on existing devices and machinery
- Diagnose technical faults and resolve them independently and efficiently
- Instruct customers on the operation and maintenance of the devices and provide support for technical enquiries
- Coordinate appointments, spare parts deliveries and technical issues in close cooperation with customers and internal departments
- Support our customers primarily in Germany, occasionally in Europe and rarely worldwide
Requirements
- You have completed vocational training in mechanics, mechatronics or a comparable technical qualification
- You work independently, are service-oriented and have a strong quality awareness
- You demonstrate empathy, openness and intercultural competence when working with international customers
- You are flexible and willing to travel regularly within Germany and occasionally internationally
- You have good English language skills, particularly in technical contexts
- You work reliably with colleagues and customers and take responsibility in field service
