Responsibilities
- Validate municipal, state and federal tax calculations.
- Validate and submit all ancillary tax obligations (tax filings).
- Monitor and communicate updates to tax legislation.
- Verify correct application of current tax legislation.
- Request approval for payment of tax payment slips/documents.
- Validate tax entries recorded in the ERP.
- Prepare documentation for inspections and audits.
- Respond to inspections conducted by municipal, state and federal authorities.
- Conduct internal audits of tax procedures and routines.
- Check the company's tax status with the relevant authorities.
- Monitor and manage CNDs (tax clearance certificates).
- Comply with primary and ancillary tax obligations.
- Calculate indirect taxes and file the corresponding obligations.
- Interface systems through reports.
- Review tax ledgers/registers for incoming and outgoing transactions.
- Provide technical support to the team on various activities.
- Manage municipal registration of branches, advising on regional tax requirements.
- Visit municipal agencies when necessary for the implementation of units.
- Monitor and validate analysts' and assistants' activities in the ERP.
- Record completion of position activities in the system.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in progress or completed in Accounting, Law, Business Administration, Finance or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the tax area.
- Experience working in BPO (Business Process Outsourcing).
