Responsibilities
Organize and conduct physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation.
Direct client participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance.
Facilitate the learning of those skills and functions essential for promoting independence and productivity.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to the philosophy and goals of the mission of Hebrew SeniorLife.
Administer diagnostic testing procedures to assess the extent of patients’ impairments and the prognosis for improvement.
Evaluate clients, develop appropriate treatment goals and methods, implement the physical therapy treatment plan, and complete all related documentation.
Requirements
Current Physical Therapy MA Licensure
Contact with patients under a wide variety of circumstances
Subject to varying and unpredictable situations.
Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing or walking.
