Behavioral Health Therapist treating mental health concerns at UW Health. Collaborating on treatment plans and coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients presenting with a wide range of mental health concerns and diagnoses.
Collaborate with patients on individualized treatment plans with specific goals and outcomes.
Coordinate patient care with primary care, other specialty providers, and families via written and verbal communication.
Provide psychotherapy, utilizing multiple modalities and methods consistent with evidence-based practice, including specific and focused treatment protocols, when appropriate.
Utilize progress monitoring and outcome measurement tools to assess benefits of psychotherapy and change the treatment plan, if necessary.
Requirements
Minimum – Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or other behavioral health related field
Minimum – 2 years of experience providing evidence-based treatment for a variety of behavioral health diagnoses for children, adolescents, or adults
Preferred – 5 years of experience providing evidence-based treatment for a variety of behavioral health diagnoses for children, adolescents, or adults
Licensed Clinical Social Worker Upon Hire Required or
Licensed Professional Counselor Upon Hire Required or
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Upon Hire Required
Basic Life Support/CPR within 6 months Required
Minimum – Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Psychology (Psy.D.) in Counseling or Clinical Psychology or related field.
Minimum – One (1) year of postdoctoral supervised clinical experience Preferred
Licensure or eligible for licensure as a Psychologist in Wisconsin
Basic Life Support/CPR within 6 months Required
