Responsibilities
- Bring energy and enthusiasm to looking beyond the surface to break news and tell impactful stories;
- Produce daily and longer-term enterprise content — including features as well as data-driven investigative pieces — for use across multiple platforms with a digital-first mindset;
- Create photos, videos, social media posts as essential elements of multi-dimensional storytelling;
- Work collaboratively and collegially with reporters, photographers, editors and producers
Requirements
- Minimum of three years working as a daily news reporter.
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, history, political science or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong, clear, accurate writing ability that demonstrates attention to detail and grammar.
- Strong news judgment.
- Ability to confront officials, handle difficult conversations and hold people accountable.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
