UI/UX Engineer responsible for optimizing BlueSpice software in terms of accessibility and usability. Collaborating closely with product management to ensure compliance with guidelines and improve user experience.
Responsibilities
You rapidly and systematically advance the frontend of our software and optimize it for various devices.
You translate screen designs into code and implement functionality.
You ensure the accessibility of our software by monitoring compliance with the Barrier-Free Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz) and WCAG guidelines in the digital context, thereby guaranteeing an unrestricted user experience for all users of our wikis.
You improve the usability of BlueSpice in close collaboration with product management, drive interface standardization and enhancements in user guidance.
You advise and support product development in creating concepts.
Requirements
Ideally, you have completed training in UX/UI design and/or have 5 to 10 years of experience in UX/UI design or web development.
You have an eye for precise implementation of designs and can overcome technical challenges that arise.
You have experience implementing legal accessibility requirements (BITV 2.0).
You have an understanding of and interest in open-source technology and collaborative, open development models.
You have experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Working consistently with ticketing systems, test environments and Git is your day-to-day.
Bootstrap and LESS are familiar to you.
You are highly self-organized, understand priorities and meet implementation deadlines.
You speak fluent German and English.
