About the role

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate AI systems in production (e.g., Conversational AI, RAG, agents, voice)
- Develop scalable backend architectures for a multi-tenant SaaS
- Make fundamental technical decisions (cloud, data models, infrastructure, tooling)
- Own features and systems end-to-end – from concept to production deployment with customers
Requirements
- You have built production software before (startup, scale-up, or similar)
- You think in systems and enjoy architectural challenges
- You take ownership and do not require close supervision
- You are pragmatic, decisive, and see things through to completion
- You have a genuine interest in AI engineering and its practical application
- You speak very good German (at least C1), as we build for the public sector
