About the role

• Health and Safety Engineer responsible for implementing safety measures in automated systems. Ensuring compliance with European regulations and performing audits and training.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS management systems and processes in the field, regularly inspect the effectiveness of implementation, and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Perform regular site inspections and internal audits; coordinate external audits, implement corrective measures, and promote continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular workplace risk assessments (RI&E in NL, DUERP in FR, etc.) for deployment phase of projects, supervise the rectification of illegal operations, and ensure the safety and compliance of operations; approve and supervise hazardous operations to ensure controlled management of high-risk operations.
• Strictly control the compliance of outsourcing contractors' construction, sign safety construction agreements, supervise the safe execution of the construction process, and promptly correct and report any violations.
• Organize three-level safety education for new employees, verify the certification status of special operations, conduct EHS training and emergency drills, and enhance employees' emergency response capabilities.
• Participate in the investigation and analysis of safety accidents and near misses, write investigation reports, and promote the implementation of rectification measures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Safety Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Professional certification preferred (e.g., NEBOSH, TÜV Functional Safety Engineer, or equivalent).
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in safety engineering, ideally in Industrial manufacturing and machinery deployment
• Fluent in English; additional European language (Dutch/German/French) advantageous.
• Exceptional communication, influence, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to travel globally and work across diverse teams and time zones
