Studying design and creating illustrations for digital learning at gyde's learning platform. Collaborating with teams to enhance the visual style and user experience of learning formats.
Responsibilities
You develop and refine illustrations for our microlearning modules — from small scenes and characters to icons and explanatory graphics that intuitively guide learners through the content
You create company-specific designs for our gyde Academy and thereby help shape the visible look & feel of our clients
You are our point of contact for illustrations & graphics and help define the visual style of our brand
You work on design concepts that you creatively develop further and consistently expand our illustration and image library — for both internal projects and gyde Academy clients
You create marketing visuals such as display ads that strengthen our brand externally, working closely with our marketing team
You test new learning content from a designer’s perspective and provide targeted visual feedback that flows directly into product development
If you’re interested, you can also contribute to UI/UX design and help shape the visual development of our platform
Requirements
You are studying Communication Design, Digital Design, Information Design, or a comparable degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) and will be enrolled for at least two more semesters
You have a good eye for design and are proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.); experience with Figma is a plus but not required
You have experience with AI-assisted image generation (Midjourney, Recraft, ChatGPT, etc.) — or you are a quick learner
You are reliable, structured, and enjoy diving into new topics
You have excellent German skills, good English skills, and an eye for detail
Benefits
A versatile role with real opportunities for development and creative responsibility
The chance to actively shape modern learning formats and to implement your own ideas visibly
The opportunity to collect high-quality material for your portfolio
Insights into the development of digital learning content, design, and platform — from the idea to the finished product

You will expand your design skills through the use of modern AI tools and learn to use them effectively as a creative assistant
Your illustrations will be used annually by over 1,800 learners
Marketing visuals reach thousands more people depending on the campaign
An interdisciplinary, motivated team that thinks about content, design, and product development together
