About the role
- Strategic Financial Planning Analyst supporting financial analysis and strategy execution at Guardian. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational alignment and drive financial insights.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to evaluate strategic initiatives, including financial modeling, ROI analysis, and risk assessment
- Support execution planning by aligning financial and operational goals with initiative timelines and milestones
- Track initiative performance against defined KPIs and provide actionable insights
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes across departments as it relates to strategic investments
- Assist with developing and maintaining dynamic scenario planning models to assess financial impact under varying business conditions
- Provide variance analysis and recommendations to improve financial outcomes
- Design and maintain dashboards to monitor project performance against financial and operational KPIs
- Deliver timely and accurate reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Continuously improve reporting tools and processes to enhance decision-making
- Work closely with Finance, Strategy, and other business functional teams to ensure alignment of financial goals and strategic priorities
- Communicate complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-financial stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate strategy, or management consulting
- Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
