About the role

  • Data Analyst driving business insights at Gartner’s BTI and Product teams. Involves analytics projects and collaboration with technology teams in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Solve a wide range of problems related to content analytics, interaction and events analytics, demand sensing, staffing models, cost reporting, automation, expert performance analytics, standard reporting, and ad-hoc analytics
  • Work closely with IPA leadership to structure problems, identify data sources, perform analysis, and communicate findings
  • Lead high impact analytical projects to drive business insights across Gartner’s BTI and Product teams
  • Application of latest machine learning/AI techniques on real business problems with tangible client impact
  • Manage project planning, execution and delivery on cutting edge analytical and business projects
  • Support the set-up, management and streamlining of data pipelines for multiple data science and analytics projects
  • Build dashboards and reporting
  • Contribute to key projects following rollout plan, success criteria and metrics
  • Support and enable improvement initiatives related both to IPA deliverables and operational process improvement
  • Collaborate with the Information Technology team and data scientists to ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency

Requirements

  • Internship and/or academic experience involving analysis of large volumes of data
  • Strong hands-on experience with analytical tools
  • Ability to gather, analyze, restructure, identify and articulate insights from qualitative and quantitative data
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably with a quantitative concentration (e.g., statistics, data science, mathematics, engineering, operational research, computer science, or economics)
  • Proven track record of solving complex problems, thinking creatively, and using data to tell a story
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint, Intermediate SQL, Python/R, PowerBI
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
