About the role
- Accountant handling ongoing financial accounting and supporting reporting and budgeting processes for investment company. Collaborating cross-departmentally and optimizing internal processes in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for ongoing financial accounting for the individual companies
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements
- Performing budget calculations and supporting the preparation of analyses and reports
- Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
- Cross-departmental collaboration on projects
- Support in the further development and optimization of internal accounting (ReWe) processes
- Point of contact for internal and external stakeholders (tax advisors, auditors, banks, tax authorities, etc.)
Requirements
- Completed commercial or tax specialist training, or a degree with a focus on finance and accounting
- At least initial professional experience in accounting
- Good knowledge of financial reporting under the German Commercial Code (HGB)
- Very good German language skills (written and spoken)
- Strong analytical skills, initiative, and conscientiousness
- High degree of personal responsibility and entrepreneurial thinking
- Strong team skills and communication abilities
