Responsibilities
Serve as a technical lead for one or more project teams
Collaboratively ensure code quality and technical solution integrity for the Duck Creek Billing implementation
Develop technical design and programming specifications to meet functional analysis
Develop/modify application and/or database components per technical design
Perform system configuration and vendor software version maintenance
Analyze and interpret business requirements for task estimation and application development
Perform problem analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting
Unit tests all development
Hold code reviews and participate in code reviews by other team members or vendors
Communicate company values, beliefs and norms to team members
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
8+ years in software development
3+ years with Duck Creek Billing Base Product coding
3+ years of insurance domain experience
Proficiency with multiple release versions of Duck Creek Billing including 8.0.4.x
3+ years with Azure Dev Ops, Git/GitHub/TFS/SVN
Object-oriented design, .NET development, and SQL Server relational database design
Proficiency with XML, XPath, XSLT
Deep knowledge of Duck Creek Billing
Strong understanding of Agile methodology and software development lifecycle
Demonstrates strong ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Effective collaboration within a team and work independently with minimal supervision
Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and automated test scripting for Duck Creek server requests
