Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex IT transformation and integration projects, particularly in the context of post-merger integrations (IT PMI)
- Analyze IT organizations, system landscapes and processes, identifying risks, dependencies and synergies
- Design, plan and implement structured IT project management approaches — from strategy and implementation planning to successful project closure
- Facilitate workshops and manage key communication formats, e.g., project meetings, steering boards and client presentations
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders in a targeted manner, ensuring budget, schedules, quality and governance
- Mentor and provide technical support to junior team members and actively contribute to the development of methods and operating models
Requirements
- Degree in (business) computer science, industrial engineering, business administration or a comparable field
- Several years of relevant professional experience in IT project management, IT consulting or in the context of IT transformations / IT-PMI
- Solid understanding of IT systems, application landscapes, IT organizations and governance structures
- Experience with both traditional and agile project management methodologies
- Ability to balance competing interests and to develop viable, actionable solutions
- Strong communication and presentation skills at both technical and management levels
- Analytical, structured working style and enjoyment of complex challenges
- Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken
