About the role
- Full-stack Developer managing web applications while coordinating subcontractors for project delivery. Collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring quality and timeliness in project execution.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain high-performance web applications and platforms
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure project delivery on time, within budget and according to quality standards
- Gather, analyze and structure requirements with stakeholders (internal clients, management, marketing, IT, end users)
- Define functional and technical requirements, priorities and deliverables
- Plan projects (schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies)
- Monitor progress, manage issues and adjust priorities as needed
- Perform testing, fixes and production deployments.
Requirements
- University or college degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related field
- At least five (5) years of experience in a similar role
- Fluent in French, both spoken and written
- Bilingualism is an asset
- Strong experience in web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern frameworks)
- Knowledge of at least one back-end environment (e.g., Node.js, PHP, Python, Java, etc.)
- Experience with databases and APIs
- Proficiency with version control tools (Git)
- Good understanding of web architectures and deployment
- Experience in digital project management, including coordinating subcontractors
- Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications
- Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical
- Organized, autonomous and detail-oriented
- Ability to make decisions and manage priorities in a changing environment
- Experience in UX/UI or close collaboration with designers
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
