About the role
- Cloud Infrastructure & Network Operations Engineer ensuring reliable operation of business-critical cloud infrastructure. Collaborating on automation, incident management, and change processes within a diverse team.
Responsibilities
- Incident Management: Analyze, document, and resolve operational incidents (~20% of working time), including escalation and coordination within the team.
- Change Management: Plan, assess impact, coordinate, and implement changes.
- Operations: Guarantee smooth platform operation and drive continuous improvement.
- Automation & Innovation: Contribute to automation and self-service solutions (e.g., DevOps tools, Python scripting).
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues on task planning, shift schedules, and on-call rotations.
Requirements
- Several years of experience operating and administering cloud and network architectures (e.g., data centers, enterprise environments).
- Strong skills in automation and DevOps (e.g., Python, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code).

- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.

- EVPN/VXLAN Fabric Services Operation of multi-AZ Cisco Nexus 9k CLOS fabric; VXLAN data-plane, EVPN control-plane, MP-BGP/OSPF underlay; multi-chassis LAG; route-reflectors; automation via templates; 99.99% availability.
- 5+ years in DC fabric operations on Cisco NX-OS 9k series.
- Certifications: CCNP Enterprise or Data Center; CCIE Data Center ideal.
- Security Clearance: SÜ2 within Germany required.
