About the role
- Site Controller at Givaudan providing financial support for performance and budget management. Engaging with various teams to deliver solutions in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- You will support the site management in the development and analysis of business plans, forecasts, cost savings opportunities, etc.
- You support the management in strategic decision-making, associated with the months-end financial close.
- You will perform ad-hoc and proactive analysis of the monthly KPI's and provide the management with interpretive and predictive information for decision-making.
- You will review the analysis of the site cost and identify variances vs. budget, last year and outlook, and drive and recommend corrective actions.
- You will participate in forecasting and mid-to long term planning for the factory.
- You manage annual and periodic requirements of costing activities and analysis of COGS and provide detailed product costing analysis to support management in the evaluation of product costs.
- You coordinate the annual budget process for the site.
- You will work with site engineers, local management, regional controllers and local finance from the stage of evaluating capital proposals up until value realization, contributing as an active member in site projects that create process/cost improvements.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or similar Controlling qualification
- 4-5 years' experience controlling in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of costing processes
- Proficiency in German and English in both literary and speaking
- Strong financial background (budgeting process, reporting, financial analysis, controlling, accounting)
- Integrate in complex teams within a matrix organization
- SAP FI/CO and advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills
- Knowledge of MS Access and Power BI is an advantage
