About the role
- Manual QA Engineer responsible for writing test cases and functional testing. Collaborates with the product team at SQUIRE to deliver exceptional user experiences for barbers.
Responsibilities
- Write test cases based on project requirements and technical specifications
- Report defects found during functional testing and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution
- Collaborate with the product team to define test scenarios and ensure test coverage
- Work closely with the Quality Engineering Manager to prioritize testing efforts and improve overall quality processes
- Participate in agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintain documentation related to test cases, test plans, and test results
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in manual software testing across web and mobile platforms
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies leveraged through the creation and completion of test plans, risk based analysis, and ad hoc test coverage
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Proficiency with the following programs: Jira, TestRail, Android Studio, Postman, Charles Proxy, Proxyman, PostgreSQL
- English proficiency is a must. It's important you can communicate your ideas clearly as you will be interacting with English-speaking coworkers.
- Must be based in Buenos Aires.
- Availability to work full-time from Mon to Fri from 9 to 6 local time, and onsite from our office in CABA on Tuesdays and Thursdays
