Responsibilities
Personally undertake radiation therapy pre-treatment and treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the Centre and across the practice.
Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
Ensure that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.
Ensure established patient care standards are maintained.
Liaise with members of the health care team in the planning and delivery of patient services.
Ensure patients are provided with relevant material and information relating to radiation therapy.
Be competent in Radiation Therapy, pre-treatment & treatment.
Requirements
Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy (treatment and pre-treatment), including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques.
Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment.
Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services.
Registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
Current licence with the EPA
