About the role

Responsibilities
- Advise and serve as a business partner to the finance and business leadership teams on business strategy, financial strategy, and performance.
- Work cross-functionally on strategic issues and opportunities facing the company.
- Collaborate with CFO, Head of Finance & Pricing and other Executive Leaders to present financial results to the board of directors.
- Identify and manage financial risks, implement internal controls to protect company assets, and ensure compliance with insurance industry regulations.
- Develop, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance team to support their development and achievement of goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting required, with a Master’s degree or professional certification like Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
- 15+ years’ experience in strategic financial data analysis with a minimum of 10 years developing and leading a team in the insurance industry.
- Experience working with executive and senior management to develop and implement successful strategic data/reporting solutions and assess and/or define new business opportunities.
- Extensive functional experience in P&L management, corporate planning, business unit finance, strategy, and operations in insurance a plus.
- Deep understanding of financial principles, accounting, and advanced data and financial modeling within the insurance industry.
