About the role
- Forward Deployed Engineer working with customers to create scalable AI-powered solutions and integrations. Collaborating with teams to ensure rapid progress towards production-grade outcomes in a hybrid work setup.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers to understand their business challenges and design scalable AI-powered solutions
- Build custom features, integrations, and workflows using cutting-edge AI frameworks (e.g. OpenAI Agents SDK, LangGraph, CrewAI)
- Partner with customer engineering and PM teams to deploy solutions and ensure sustained success
- Continuously track, communicate, and align workstreams with internal and customer stakeholders
- Travel on-site to work closely with strategic customers and build deep empathy for their needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology) or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years as a backend or full-stack SWE, ideally with experience at an AI-first or developer-focused startup
- Proficient in Python and familiar with deploying LLM-based workflows and evaluations
- Hands-on experience with OpenAI Agents SDK, LangGraph, CrewAI, MCP, or similar
- Familiarity with LLM APIs, RAG architectures, and tools like Rasa, DsPy, or evaluation frameworks
- Experience working directly with customers (external or internal), gathering requirements, and delivering impact
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Willing to travel for onsite work with customers as needed (up to 20%)
