About the role
- Technician/Engineer in Engineering Sales for Funkwerk Group, a leading provider of mobility and infrastructure solutions. Responsible for engineering rail communication solutions and customer relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Engineering of train radio system solutions in response to inquiries from internal and external customers
- Site inspections of rail vehicles and preparation of technical documentation
- Independent organization and execution of fault analyses (including on-site), customer training, and first- and second-level analyses
- Coordination of problem resolution with development and other required partners
- Analyzing and testing issues
- Documenting problems and solutions
- Translating the insights gained into requirements for current and future products
Requirements
- Degree (university, university of applied sciences or bachelor’s) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Communications Engineering, or extensive experience in a similar environment
- Technical understanding and the willingness and ability to master new technical complexities
- Knowledge of project management and sales is an advantage

- Very good German, both written and spoken
- Good English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus
