About the role
- Director managing transactions and restructuring projects for Private Equity or Corporate clients at FTI-Andersch. Leading project teams and enhancing financial due diligence processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead transaction projects or individual workstreams for our Private Equity or corporate clients
- Support judicial and extrajudicial restructuring processes related to transactions and associated restructuring measures, e.g., full or partial sale, carve-out
- Take responsibility for financial due diligence processes
- Identify and quantify value-creation potential within transaction processes, e.g., integration, carve-out and/or exit-readiness programs
- Manage and organize project workflows, lead the project team, and train and coach our (Senior) Consultants
- Take on and own internal matters (product and business development in the transaction services, carve-out and merger-integration context) and support FTI’s external representation
Requirements
- Excellent academic qualification in economics, industrial engineering or another quantitatively oriented discipline, e.g., with a focus on finance, (equity) controlling, accounting, strategy or similar qualifications
- Several years of professional and transaction experience in transaction services, buy-/sell-side support, carve-out and post‑merger integration, corporate finance and/or restructuring advisory
- Project leadership experience in transaction environments
- Strong motivation to broaden your profile at the intersection of financial due diligence, value creation, restructuring and transformation
- Enjoy mentoring team members, possess an entrepreneurial mindset and a high degree of personal responsibility
- Strong analytical thinking, confident presence, excellent communication skills and team spirit
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
