Responsibilities
Participate in various research and industry projects related to the grid integration of wind turbines
Support the commissioning of a converter test bench
Optimize and expand other test benches with a focus on Power Hardware-in-the-Loop (PHiL)
Develop testing methods to generate measurement data for model validation
Design test and validation procedures for grid-forming characteristics
Prepare scientific reports and publications to present findings
Manage projects and lead individual R&D projects over time
Assist team members in planning and executing measurement campaigns
Requirements
Completed diploma or master’s degree in electrical engineering, power engineering, control engineering, mechatronics, or engineering management
Basic understanding of electrical energy systems
Familiarity with control engineering and grid modeling (at least in theory)
Experience with MATLAB and PSCAD is a plus
Experience with software-in-the-loop (SIL), model-in-the-loop (MIL), or hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) is advantageous
Good command of German and English
