About the role

  • Assistant Tax Manager handling various tax advisory projects for M&A at Forvis Mazars in Bangkok. Supervise team members and assist in resource management and marketing activities.

Responsibilities

  • Work on various tax advisory projects including M&A tax due diligence and structuring, business combination, tax controversy support, tax health check, tax planning
  • Supervise and coach team members
  • Assist Partner, Directors and Managers in resource management and marketing activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Law or Economics (a post-graduate degree or CPA is a plus)
  • Minimum 5 years prior experience in tax department of international accounting or law firm
  • Highly competent in both written and spoken English
  • Knowledge of MS Office software
  • Ability to prioritise own work
  • People management skills
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to implement solutions to problems
  • Ability to work under pressure
