About the role
- Clinical Trial Coordinator responsible for budget negotiations and payments in clinical trials. Working in a hybrid model with client-facing responsibilities and financial oversight.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for site payments and budget negotiations.
- Serve as client’s contact for site payments and clinical trial budget negotiations.
- Establish a strong working relationship with client’s project teams.
- Monitor and control start-up and ongoing payments to sites.
- Proactively engage in quality assurance and risk management activities.
- Initiate improvements to enhance efficiency and quality of payment-work performed on assigned projects.
- Develop, negotiate, approve, and maintain site-level budgets & payments.
- Track and report site payments and budget negotiations updates.
- Understand client expectations for deliverables/milestones.
- Oversee budget approval status and coordinate addressing queries.
- Calculate and execute payments.
Requirements
- University/College degree (life science preferred), or certification in a related allied health profession from an appropriate accredited institution (e.g., nursing certification, medical or laboratory technology).
- Minimum 0 – 2 + years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the key responsibilities of the job.
- Working knowledge of ICH, RA, IRB/IEC, and other applicable regulations/guidelines
- Demonstrated basic understanding of the clinical trial process.
- Must be bilingual in French & English.
