Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
Analog and digital circuit design for precision instrumentation (e.g., oscilloscopes, SMUs, DMMs, waveform generators).
Experience with low-noise, high-accuracy measurement systems, including signal conditioning and filtering.
Understanding of measurement accuracy, error budgets, and calibration techniques.
Familiarity with A/D and D/A converters, low-current and low-voltage design, and power supply regulation.
Knowledge of transmission line theory, impedance matching, and high-speed signal integrity.
Experience designing hardware for test and measurement instruments used in R&D, manufacturing, and diagnostics.
Understanding of system-level architecture, including timing, synchronization, and communication protocols (e.g., USB, Ethernet, GPIB, LXI).
Ability to define and optimize block diagrams, signal paths, and measurement performance.
Ability to interface with embedded software, instrument drivers, and automation frameworks.
Programming experience in C/C++, Python, or Lua for hardware control and test automation.
Familiarity with Linux-based development environments and scripting for data acquisition and analysis.
