Salesforce CRM Software Engineer enhancing Salesforce platforms for Ford Motor Company. Collaborating with development teams to align with marketing and service sales design principles.
Responsibilities
Deliver industry leading products and services that maximize value and productivity, aligning with Salesforce Sales, Salesforce Data Cloud & Marketing Cloud design principles.
Maintain a balance between internal developer/operations desirability, business viability, and technical feasibility while delivering platform enhancements.
Engage continuously and work closely with other Salesforce development teams, Ford internal teams, security engineers, operations personnel, Product Line/Product Managers, Anchors, and Business Partners.
Work hands-on with Platform team and stakeholders to deliver software and process improvements that create excellent developer and operational experiences.
Collaborate with CRM product teams and interfacing IT teams (security, infrastructure, etc.) to define specifications, requirements, and acceptance criteria for platform deliverables and integrations.
Requirements
Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, information technology or a technology related field.
5+ years of experience in software engineering in general and technical expertise with a focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Data Cloud, Adobe AEM
Experience with delivery/development and deep understanding of the development lifecycle, with a preference for experience in Salesforce “Core” – Sales and/or Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud
3+ years of working with agile methodologies like Rally or Jira writing features and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Solid understanding of DevOps principles, methodologies, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
1+ year of experience developing and deploying for cloud platforms like Salesforce and some level of understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure, or AWS, version Control (Github and Git).
Experience with specific Salesforce development and DevSecOps tools (e.g., Copado, CodeScan, SFDX, source control systems like Github).
4+ years working with Agile software methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Jira).
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Implementation of AI features even as POC will be recognized.
