Responsibilities
Perform algorithm development, verification, and validation in the simulation environment and in real world driving.
Perform signal processing and decision-making algorithm development.
Support utilities used for code, algorithm verification and testing.
Identify areas of improvement and tradeoffs, changes needed to improve performance and help meet objectives.
Perform embedded perception software development and deployment, perception data analysis, algorithm implementation, and machine learning.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering or a related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
1. Utilize C++ to develop ADAS algorithm content, troubleshoot production level software defections, and improve code quality for embedded algorithm integration.
2. Design and develop unit tests to ensure all production code is tested and support ADAS Algorithm Development.
3. Develop perception and controls logic to perform ADAS tasks for production implementation.
4. Develop production software and flash on production hardware. Test and debug integration issues on test benches or in vehicles to ensure code is meeting the expected performance output.
5. Plan and track software development tasks in an agile environment using JIRA and create iterative improvement plans for software work tasks.
6. Use controls, signal processing, machine learning, or computer vision techniques to deliver perception and controls ADAS solutions.
