About the role
- Supply Chain Manager overseeing product planning, procurement, and compliance at foodloose. Collaborating with sales and suppliers to ensure efficiency and regulatory adherence.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for strategic sales, production, and packaging planning in close coordination with Sales and external manufacturers
- Forecast planning to ensure optimal product availability
- Monitoring and control of inventory to prevent stockouts or overstocks
- Operational management of all procurement processes, including packaging planning, in coordination with external manufacturers
- Support in contract negotiations and ensuring quality and delivery standards
- Preparation of regular analyses and identification of efficiency and cost-saving opportunities
- Support in pricing and assortment planning
- Project management for product launches in coordination with external suppliers, product development, and marketing
- Coordination of display and promotional activities in collaboration with our Operations Manager
- Responsibility for compliance with legal requirements related to packaging
- Submission of packaging, sales, and annual reports (e.g., Fairtrade)
- Monitoring of new regulatory developments
Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or operations
- Strong analytical skills and a good affinity for numbers
- Experience in production planning and inventory control
- Confident communication with suppliers, including in English
- Knowledge of packaging regulations and other regulatory requirements is an advantage
- Structured, solution-oriented, and independent working style
- Project management experience desirable
